Quantum Hospitality is closely associated with the Turnaround Centre, a not for profit organization that has been feeding the homeless in Perth for over 15 years. Quantum Hospitality is both a financial contributor and board member.
The Group has adopted a proactive approach to do its part in dealing with global warming. First and foremost is the use of the latest technology to minimize power usage in rooms using a software package that controls every part of the room’s electrical system down to reducing room energy consumption to preset levels as soon as a guest leaves the room. Additionally the system has green options including running lights on 80% to 40% of brilliance, static AC temperatures, auto closing curtains when empty and outside temperatures exceed certain levels.
The Group has adopted solar power as an alternative power source which will be mounted on all buildings; recycled grey water will be used in all landscaping water programs, water run off capture and reuse where applicable, and a comprehensive in house recycling program.
